Tam, Tang, Sham P.C. dba Waltham Dental Center in Waltham, MA is seeking a full-time Dentist.

 

Job Duty:

 

Be responsible for providing comprehensive examinations to patients including diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of teeth and tissue problems. Specifically,

 

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases of hard and soft tissues of mouth;

 

• Examine patients and interpret radiographs to assist in determining extent of tissue breakdown;

 

• Evaluate findings and conduct treatment, such as restoration, surgical extraction, wisdom tooth extraction, molar RCT, removable denture & fixed prosthesis and correcting defects of occlusion;

 

• Prescribe and administer medications on treatment of diseases and infection of the oral cavity;

 

• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and dental preventive measures. Provide consultation services;

 

• Surgical placement and restoration of dental implants and minor surgery in the treatment of periodontal disease;

 

• Emergency chair-side treatment when necessary and compliance with state, federal professional regulation;

 

• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirement: 

 

• Doctoral degree in dental medicine (DMD or DDS) from an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited college or university plus 6-month full-time (or full-time equivalent) working experience, which must include 6-month working experience in surgical placement and restoration of dental implants and minor surgery in the treatment of periodontal disease.

 

• Must possess valid and current MA dentist license, and DEA registration.
